I found this in circulation in Canada, any idea what is the market value for this coin?

Thanks

I'd have to venture a guess of 5 cents.

Selling Coppers 1.35 + shipping. *800.00* ~sold~

Not sure if the Royal Canadian Mint uses the exact same process as the US Mint, but this looks like a "struck through grease" coin. I'm not sure there is going to be much of a premium on it if any, sorry to say.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

I would also agree with you both, but good luck getting anyone to through anything large down for it.

Since I go to about 2 to 4 coin shows a month, I've seen a real increase in error coins. However, those that could, might, should, possibly be from a grease filled die just don't sell well. If you tried ebay you may be offered a dollar or millions. With ebay you just never know.
