Megaman.......I wish you ultimate success with your future business.

As today's saying goes: Been There, Done That, Don't Want to Do It Again!!!

We owned our own business for just over ten years and lost it to the state for a road widening project. It was open every day of the year except Christmas. We even had to go in to do work on Christmas. It afforded (non-monetarily) many opportunities at that season of our life that we never would have been able to do had we had conventional jobs working for someone else and I am thankful for those years, yet I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy now. Our son, too, enjoyed being there with us and it had been his youthful desire to one day run that business with his dad. The state had other plans for the property and when the doors were closed my husband decided to look for employment rather than reopen the business somewhere else. He eventually became employed by a large company and now, our son works for the same company, just in a little different line of work. So, sometimes you get what you wish for in just a little different format.

Study hard, stay awake in class , dream big and you will have much success in your future. And, continue to listen to your dad as he spouts random business nonsense because sometimes we older folks actually know a thing or two.

Enjoy.

Since moving to college, I've only managed to sort the change from my roommates' jars. So far I've collected $8 in copper pennies and have found one silver dime :) (my first ever wild Ag and on my birthday too!)

Well not all students get the 'AP' credit, depends on the college, and your score on the test.

I remember AP US history. Not a bad course, wonderful teacher, but strict.

I'm not noticing any reall issues with my sorting. But I don't really have much of anything going on around work & coining. Since i've successfully been putting off Graduate school, this is my life around work.

Place orders on monday
Pick up coins thursday and friday afternoons.
Return coins the rest of the week.
Try to sell some copper cents, count into $100 batches by hand.
Mail them out.
Repeat.

Gotta work on that hand counting thing Job. Then you will be able to sort a lot more.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

hit a major snag today with returns. Most of my banks are getting annoyed with me. I'm probably going to drop back down to depressing lows of 400 a week for a while.

This might sound dorky but why not sort one or two rolls an hour while you do work or homework? It could be a good break from the homework.

I have been slowed greatly due to my busy schedule, so I am just buying nickels and sitting on 'em. By the way, my school vending machine spits out a combination of: Susan B. Anthony Dollars, and the new "gold" dollars as well as quarters, dimes, and nickels. why can't it just spit out buffalo nickels and copper pennies??

I enjoy taking long walks off short piers.
