I just curious what's the most valuable cent people here have found. I'm curious if anybody has found a VDB-S, 1914-D, flying eagle, valuable error, etc.

I got a 1909 VDB from a $25 box last year.
It hasn't grown an "S" yet.

I found an over stamped '87 face with a stuck reverse last week from a CWR last week.

There's profit if you melt things!!

I've found two of them during my hand sorting ... one had corroded, the other would probably grade AU. Sold the bad one for $50.00 and the AU for $70.00 to a coin dealer. Don't know what he will sell them for. Depending on condition, if you sell it, you should be able to get 50.00 - 150.00 (IMHO and also my not too well informed opinion )

Cool posts everyone. Reading about finds like this is what keeps me so excited hoping I too can find something really valuable. Although a mere IH would be wonderful to find. I know, I'm just dreaming!!!

Continued success, everyone.

It's funny how spending a buck fifty at a coin shop just is not the same as pulling an IH.

Sorry I wasn't more explicit Both my 1984s were doubled ear lobe, chin and part of beard. Again, as was mentioned by another, DDO says it all!

Have found a 2000 Wide 'AM', but evidently they are quite common and of not much value?
