I love this forum, but is it just me or does the search seem worthless? You can find a word in the title of a recent thread and use the search and it will find nothing.

Search doesn't work. I think someone intimated that the database engine is corrupted. Perhaps one of our administrators knows why it hasn't been fixed?

I believe that the problem is that we all talk too much While searching the forum for your one specific word, the page will time out and load an error. It is set up so that it redirects you to a finished search page with no results. That's my opinion on the matter.

Sometimes search works, other times it doesn't. It can find specific threads if you know the EXACT title and be sure to search all forums. Other than that, no go.

We have discussed this and have no idea how to fix it. One idea would be to archive old threads to reduce the amount to be searched, but no one has the heart.
