This guy in CA made a lunch bet in Paris with his brother that he could save 1'000,000 pennies, he won the bet about ten years ago but now he is moving to OR and is trying to get rid of the pennies......only problem is that no one wants them.
Three tons of pennies for $10,000.........go and get it.

| This forum should buy the pennies. If they are copper and we could get them for face, it would be a good deal. Sounds like they are rolled. Even with shipping, it would be worth it. Plus, it is newsworthy. We could get some free publicity. Perhaps one of our California members could orchestrate it. What does everyone think? |

Sounds to me like Ponce is just setting us up to buy his dumped zincers. |

I thought it was a long time ago also. I would have been happy to go get them.. it is only a little over 3 tons. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

| No worries, Ponce. It was very easy to find. I just searched for "Ronald England" and "1,000,000" and it popped right up. I can't imagine his pennies would last unclaimed for more than a week at this day and age, with this forum up and running. |

Those pennies were donated to make a wish? That's really too bad. It would be my pleasure to first filter the coppers out and pay them the difference at face.
