Today I found one of those little screens that go in a faucet. This made me wonder what some of the weirdest things you guy have found in a roll of pennies.

There was a Platinum "good luck" symbol from Thailand found a while back. Maybe someone could post the thread link. As far as non-cent finds, that one ranks right up there as weirdest, the Golden Indian stands out as Best-In-Roll from what I remember reading here. My personal non-cent weirdest is a sticker covered plastic disk (tiddly wink/board game piece?) and those darn Dimes. |

| Interesting finds: error coins, coins with stickers on front or back, cut out coins, plastic coins, a clear plastic disk, counter stamped coins, foreign coins, dimes, a silver dime, nickels, quarters...yes I have found quarters in penny bags and a few wild Indians of course. Every bag is an adventure and I love the thrill of the hunt! |

It was in a dime roll rather than a penny roll. However, I was given the pleasure of finding one rather thick shirt button in place of three dimes. There's no way that was an honest mistake!

| Well the best find of mine would have to be a 1914 $2.50 gold indian. Other stuff I have found are: Mint tokens, buttons, keys, blank penny planchets, Indian heads, silver dimes, misc forgien coins, plastic money, earings, misc metal slugs, paper clips, steel pennies, and other items |

Highroller, He wanted to know what you found in ROLLS.
If you found keys, earrings, and paperclips in your rolls, I want to know where you are getting your rolls.
Now I do agree that bags have some of the oddest stuff in them. i have found dimes, nickels, quarters and a presidential dollar in penny bags. Also a button, a washer, plastic dimes and pennies, foreign coins from all over the world, a flattened penny and other odd things in bags.
As far as ROLLS go. A 5 Euro ( it is the size of a nickle so they had to work that to get it to fit) a Golf token(ball marker?) plastic coins and some pennies that were superglued together. 3 & 4 stuck together. And always a dime or two. |
