I got this offer in a couple of emails. Good way to get paid to have a dump bank or a new source for pennies. At least you can get free copper. Bank is WAMU/Chase. I did this last year with no real problems, but read the fine print to make sure it works for you.

I got an offer in the mail from Chase Bank to open a checking account, and they would reward $100 cash deposited to the account after 10 business days, with the account needing to be kept open for at least 6 months. About the same time I got a letter from Chase saying they were severely reducing the credit limit on my Chase credit card for no valid reason IMO. Screw 'em....they will never get my business again.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

Next week they will offer you a new card with 0% interest. Open up the account and take their money.. they owe it to you.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

I opened a chase credit card last summer and got $50 free. Than with their rewards program once you earn $200 worth of rewards they turn it into $250!

It seems the Direct Deposit rule seems to kill the deal for these offers. But the chase offer says 'or make 5 transactions', if this is true it might not be so bad of a deal. Do you know if you can apply for this offer in a local bank or if its just online?

Yep. These programs have been hard at work with TARP funds for several months.

The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities.
