I can't believe this thread is still alive. I did find a plastic penny earlier this week. Those little suckers will jam a Ryedale.
Does anyone have a plastic penny Dansco album? |

| I saw these plastic money teaching tools at Staples Office Supply for the first time this week. Man it was tempting to buy them, but the retail price was nearly four dollars, and the face value of all the coins added up was maybe five dollars? ...I'd rather teach my kids about counting money with actual money! |

Found one yesterday searching CWRs. First one in a long time, thank goodness.
It says Imperial and Play Money with a portrait that really does NOT look like Lincoln. However, the reverse has a much more accurate likeness of the reverse of a 1959 - 2008 US penny.
Something to ponder...I wonder now that the reverse has changed on our penny if the new plastic play pennies or new plastic pennies used for teaching our monetary system will feature the new reverse of our penny???
