On our way up to northern Michigan a couple days ago, my fiancee and her folks and I stopped at a Subway in Grand Rapids for lunch. I didn't bother to look at my change because we were trying to hurry, but as I was fishing the change out of my pocket, I found this!
I'm guessing that since we're this far north, if the cashier noticed it, he may have thought it was just a Canadian. This is incredible.
And yes, in case you were wondering, that's Laura's bling on the right in the top photo.

Good find.

Great find Chad! Just goes to show that they really do exist in the wild and that those found from bank orders aren't always from the late grandpa's stash after the kiddies clean out his "silly old coins" and dump them off at the bank to count up his loot and split the inheritance. (Ouch gramps- Next time leave a note behind!!!!) |
The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities. |
