Box 1&2 Skunk but I picked up a few things
2-1989S cameo proof in mint condition
1-79S and 1-81S both very beat up.
also
1-2004P
1-2007P

Box 3
2 Walkers 42P and 45D
1-1975 Medio Balboa in ex condition
1-Fabulous 1990 Ireland Pound Coin better than this:

The coin edge is shockingly detailed. Two rows of tiny dots and a track between. I cannot find a picture yet. Plus...
1-2008P
1-2007D

Box 4
1-1966
1-2002P
1-2002D

I enjoy the searches as a coin collector as much as a silver seeker.
I could certainly work and buy more but that's just not me.

I fill albums with the best example of each coin I find and although I don't turn down coins from others, prefer to find much rather than buy as many collectors do.

I also found 12 steel pennies in a box today. Amazing that some magnet did not get them. I also found 2-1960D small dates in shiny bright BU condition plus a pile af wheats and a poor man's 55 DD penny from the Ryedale today.

Great day!

Also at the dump bank I see a guy who had a big clear tub of segregated pennies and nickels and did an fb101 on him.
(gave him a slip of paper with realcent's addy)

Maybe he'll turn up here.

Don't feel bad... I have been searching for 11 months and have found no walkers within a 5-state radius of where I live. Any haul with a walker is a good haul.

I stopped at another branch last night and picked up $343.50 in CWR and loose. It only produced 3 NIFC 2001P.
But in addition to the coins the teller took my name and number so she can call when more halves come in. I think the bank might be someone's dump bank, but they are just searching for silver. Also I found out yesterday that both of my banks will accept loose coin in bags, and even got them to give me some bags. :)

garnede -

The 2001 halves (P or D) are not NIFC coins. NIFC's are 1987 P & D and 2002-2010 P & D. The Redbook lists 2001-P as an NIFC, but it is not. Mintage for that issue is 21,200,000...it is a circulation issue. NIFC mintage numbers for the 2002-2009 Kennedy halves generally runs in the 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 range. All 2001 Kennedy halves can be returned to circulation. I am sure another member here can verify this.

Take care,

Jeff

Jeff is right. NIFC's are 1987 P & D and 2002-2010 P & D. Recycle the 2001's back to the bank.

Exactly right. It is the 2002-present ones that you need to keep.

Thanks for the information, I will keep the nicest one for my collection and return the rest to free up some more money for searching. This info should be put on the half "what to look for" thread. It has people saying that it is 2001P through present that are NIFC. Thanks again.
