Not opening their statement to avoid the financial bloodbath results is just another step toward the Fool's Paradise.
I think that the difference between the Cuban Missile Crisis and now is that back then, everyone was well aware of the threat. I can't figure out now if people are just unaware that everything is getting closer to hitting the fan or if they just don't WANT to admit that the American way of life as they've known it is heading for the crapper. |

my dad called yesterdays increase a "dead cat bounce" i still laugh at that, and i think the market was down again today. |

For a bit of a jolt, go to stockcharts.com click on "Free Charts" and type in $INDU:$GOLD. That plots the DJIA priced in ounces of gold. You'll have to go back a few years to locate the peak. |
