Posted - 11/03/2009 : 22:37:19 Has anyone tried using CoinLok bags for storage ? I saw an ad on ebay for a ton of pennies and the picture was of about 15 CoinLok bags. Seems like a good idea. |

Posted - 11/05/2009 : 00:52:49 You could store zinc in them. Nobody cares what happens to zinc. Actually, they work really well for coin shipment.. which is what they were designed for. I would not store copper long term in them. I think the plastic will degrade and have a deleterious effect on the cents inside.  |

These bags would be great for storage as long as you store them in an area that wouldn't have major temp swings, isn't really wet ever. Also it is important to make sure your coins aren't wet before sealing the bag, and some people also recommend silica beads, though i'm not one who'd use them. |
