Posted - 10/20/2009 : 23:27:04 I'm in kentucky, i took a bucked of stripped copper wire to the scrap yard, they gave me #2 for it, they said that for it to be #1 it has to be thicker than a pencil lead. Is this right? I never read this any where. |

It looks like #1 must be larger than 1/16" diameter.
